The CDSLab equipment is housed within a 760 square foot lab in the EE/CSci building on the Twin Cities Campus of the University of Minnesota.
The lab is home to spinstands donated by IBM and Quantum, and a third which is being developed by the CDSLab with the assistance of Professional Instruments of Minnesota.
Thru an NSF grant we have purchased GHz rate digitizers, spectrum analyzers, and high speed waveform generators for use with the spinstands.
Bit error rate testing hardware was developed in house for evaluating advanced channels.
Our computing resources consist of clustered and standalone workstations and several PCs.
